I sought out private lessons with Jutta because of my upcoming C2 exam with the Goethe Institute, for which I felt insufficiently prepared. C2 is the highest level German exam for foreigners, representing near-native level fluency (I am English). Jutta helped me enormously with all aspects of the exam, with a particular focus on the speaking and writing modules. This included marking my practice essays and invaluable feedback on structuring a letter in German. She was also more than happy to take questions and help me focus on my weaknesses. I found Jutta to be a friendly, organised, encouraging and rigorous teacher – as a piano teacher myself I particularly appreciate her excellent educational skills. She is also a native German speaker so was able to fine-tune my pronunciation. I took all four modules of the exam in one day and passed them all first time, so I now have the diploma and certificate to add to my CV. I am currently applying for jobs in German-speaking Switzerland.
